ILLIES and KARL MAYER jointly organize workshops for customers in Vietnam
With increasing sales of warp knitting machines to the Vietnamese market, ILLIES newly started together with our principal KARL MAYER, series of workshops for customers in Vietnam.
The first event was officially launched in November, 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City. For 2018 another nine workshops are already scheduled. The importance of product-related workshops was pointed out by the Senior Vice President and General Director of ILLIES Vietnam, Christoph Peters, who said that this kind of service is designed especially for the technical staff of the ILLIES customers, in order to provide valuable technical information before the machines arrive at the factory.
Rainer Müller, KARL MAYER Sales Director for Asia, also confirmed how important it is to support Vietnam’s modernisation processes not only by delivering high-tech machines, but also by providing the necessary know-how.
Each workshop is scheduled as a one-week course and will be held in English, Vietnamese or Chinese. The topics to focus on are:
- introduction of “Stitch formation“ Warp Knitting
